Gaza - Saba:
The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) on Tuesday held Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responsible for the resumption of the aggression on Gaza.
"We hold the criminal Netanyahu and the Nazi Zionist occupation fully responsible for the repercussions of the treacherous aggression on Gaza," the movement said in a statement.
It added, "Netanyahu and his government are making a decision to overturn the ceasefire agreement and are exposing the prisoners in Gaza to an unknown fate."
It called on the mediators to "hold Netanyahu and the Zionist occupation fully responsible for violating and overturning the agreement."
It called on the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to "assume their responsibility to support our people and break the siege on Gaza."
The Israeli enemy resumed its massive aggression on the Palestinian Gaza Strip in the early hours of Tuesday morning, after a hiatus that lasted nearly two months.
The Israeli occupation's aggression began on October 7, 2023, hours after the "Al-Aqsa Flood" attack launched by the Palestinian resistance, led by Hamas. It continued for more than 15 decades before ceasing on January 19, in implementation of a ceasefire agreement brokered by the United States, Qatar, and Egypt.
At the beginning of this month, the first phase of the agreement, which lasted 42 days, ended, and the occupation forces are refusing to enter the second phase, which includes ending the aggression.
With the end of the first phase of the ceasefire agreement, the occupation forces have again closed all crossings leading to Gaza to prevent the entry of humanitarian aid, and are threatening further escalation measures, leading to the resumption of the genocidal war.
