Washington - Saba:
NASA announced on Tuesday that the Crew Dragon spacecraft, carrying American astronauts and a Russian astronaut, had undocked from the International Space Station.
The spacecraft is scheduled to arrive back on Earth tomorrow, Wednesday, at 3:25 PM Moscow time, landing off the coast of Florida after the two American astronauts spent nine months in space due to problems with Boeing's Starliner spacecraft.
NASA confirmed in a statement that astronauts Nick Hague, Sunny Williams, and Butch Wilmore, along with Russian cosmonaut Alexander Gorbunov, completed a long scientific mission aboard the station and returned with important scientific research results.
It is worth noting that the Starliner experienced technical problems, forcing a delay in the astronauts' return, while the Dragon took over their mission to return them to Earth.
