The Permanent Representative of the State of Palestine to the League of Arab States, Ambassador Muhannad Al-Aklouk, announced that the State of Palestine has submitted to the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States a request to hold an extraordinary session of the Council of the League of Arab States, at the level of permanent representatives, following the resumption of the crimes of aggression, genocide, and ethnic cleansing by the Israeli enemy, the occupying power.
Al-Aklouk added in a statement to the Palestine News Agency on Tuesday evening that the extraordinary session of the League Council is expected to discuss Arab and international efforts to compel the enemy to halt its crimes and aggression against the Palestinian people and to comply with international law and international legitimacy resolutions.
