Sana'a - Saba:
The Women's Commission in the Sana'a City on Wednesday sent its annual Eid convoy in support of those stationed on the front lines of pride and honor on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
The convoy contained Eid gifts of cakes, sweets, and nuts worth twenty million riyals.
During the convoy's departure, women stated that this convoy is not the first, and it will not be the last. Rather, it will be followed by more convoys of giving, as the least they can do for the heroes stationed at all frontiers of the homeland. They have written heroic deeds and achieved victories on land, sea, and air in defense of the honor of the Islamic nation and the oppressed in Gaza.
They pointed out that the convoy's departure is in recognition of the sacrifices made by those stationed in defense of the homeland, an embodiment of standing by them, a sense of pride in their sacrifices and heroism, and a sharing of their joys on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
They condemned the crimes of the American aggression and its bombing of the homes of safe citizens in Sana'a and other governorates.
