The Russian Defense Ministry announced that Kyiv attacked an energy facility in the Krasnodar Krai using three drones hours after talks between the Russian and US presidents.
The ministry explained that the attack came at a sensitive time, following Moscow's decision to temporarily halt attacks on energy infrastructure, a move it described as a provocation by Kyiv to disrupt peace initiatives.
The ministry added that the attack resulted in a fire in one of the oil tanks at the site, covering an area of 1,700 square meters. It also confirmed that Russian air defenses shot down 57 Ukrainian drones overnight in several Russian regions.
