The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights announced on Friday that it had documented the killing of 72 people across Syria over the past 24 hours, in a series of bloody assassinations targeting civilians and military personnel.
The Observatory explained that 58 of the victims fell in the countryside of Tartus and Latakia, noting that the assassinations in these two areas were carried out by "armed groups affiliated with the General Security and Syrian military factions."
