Gaza – SABA:
The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced on Friday that they had launched a rocket barrage at the occupied city of Ashkelon, following an earlier strike on Tel Aviv (Jaffa).
In a Telegram statement, Al-Qassam confirmed that the attack on Ashkelon was in retaliation for Israeli massacres against civilians.
Israeli air raid sirens sounded in Ashkelon in the afternoon after rockets were launched from northern Gaza, marking the second attack since Thursday. Israeli media reported that at least two rockets were fired, while the Israeli army claimed to have intercepted them.
This marks the second rocket attack from Gaza since Israel resumed its genocide in Gaza early Tuesday morning.
On Thursday, Al-Qassam also targeted Tel Aviv with M90 "Maqadama" rockets, reaffirming that the strikes were a response to Israeli massacres against civilians.
