
Hajjah – SABA:
A cultural seminar was held in Hajjah Governorate to mark the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali (PBUH).
During the event, Judge Abdulmajid Sharafuddin, a member of the Yemeni Scholars Association, highlighted Imam Ali’s virtues and his role in supporting Islam. He emphasized the importance of commemorating his martyrdom to strengthen his connection with his teachings, embrace his values of courage, wisdom, and piety, and apply them in daily life.
Speakers also stressed the importance of Ramadan, urging people to increase acts of worship, social solidarity, and reconciliation while encouraging youth participation in summer schools.
Dr. Abdullah Miyah, Dean of the Faculty of Quranic Sciences, reflected on Imam Ali’s contributions to Islam and the great loss the Muslim Ummah faced after his martyrdom. He called for a return to the Quran, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and Imam Ali’s teachings to confront current challenges and aggression.
