
Dhamar-Saba:
The Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit of the Ministry of Local Administration and Rural Development, in cooperation with the local authority in Dhamar Governorate and cooperative associations, launched the distribution of 15,000 cement bags to support community initiatives in nine districts of the governorate.
The distribution includes 9,000 bags for the districts of Wusab Al-Ali and Wusab Al-Safil, and 6,000 bags for the districts of Dhamar, Jahran, Al-Hada, Ans, Maghrib Ans, Mayfa'at Ans, and Al-Manar.
The Deputy Governor of Dhamar, Ali Atef, praised the role of the Interventions Unit in revitalizing community initiatives and encouraging the community to adopt service and development projects. The representative of the Interventions Unit in Dhamar and Al-Bayda Governorates, Mohammed Nashwan, emphasized that this support is part of a program to support community initiatives and motivate individuals to implement priority projects.
For his part, the Director of Agricultural Initiative Projects at the Interventions Unit, Mohammed Bashir, explained that the support targets community initiative projects across various programs, stressing the importance of community cohesion for the success of these initiatives.
The launch was attended by the Secretary-General of the Local Council in Maghrib Ans District, Abdulwali Al-Afeeri, and the representative of the Bunyan Foundation in the central regions, Abdu Al-Harib.
