The local authority in Hajjah Governorate and the Tribal Affairs Authority mourned the passing of Sheikh Mohammed Jibran Qahaish, who passed away at the age of 60.
In a statement, the authorities praised the virtues of the late sheikh, highlighting his role in conflict resolution and addressing community issues, as well as his honorable stance in resisting aggression and mobilizing for the frontlines.
The local authority, the Tribal Affairs Authority, and the Local Council of Bakil Al-Mir District extended their deepest condolences to his son, Ali Qahaish, a member of the district's local council, and all his family and relatives.
