Zionist enemy continues its aggression against Tulkarm & its camps
[28/ March/2025]
Ramallah - Saba:
Zionist enemy forces continued their aggression against the city of Tulkarm and its camp for the 61st consecutive day, and the 48th day against the Nur Shams camp, amidst a military escalation, heavy reinforcements, and attacks on markets and shops.

Zionist infantry units and military vehicles were deployed in the gold market in the center of Tulkarm, where they blocked vehicle traffic, interrogated a number of Palestinians on the spot, and forced them to leave the market under the pretext of a curfew.

The enemy forces set up flying military checkpoints in several locations in the city, particularly around Faroun Roundabout to the south, and on the road between the Dhanaba suburb and the town of Kafr al-Labad, which has become an alternative route for vehicles after the occupation destroyed the infrastructure on Nablus Street at the main entrance to the city.

Eyewitnesses reported that soldiers stopped vehicles for extended periods and conducted thorough searches, in addition to firing sound bombs at them. Israeli forces dispatched reinforcements of military vehicles and bulldozers to the Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps, deploying in several neighborhoods and imposing strict restrictions on the movement of citizens and vehicles.

Tulkarm camp witnessed a widespread military deployment, with soldiers raiding homes, breaking down doors, and vandalizing their contents. This coincided with the continued displacement of residents after they were forcibly displaced from their homes.

In Nur Shams camp, Israeli soldiers fired live ammunition intensively and indiscriminately this morning, while Israeli bulldozers blocked several entrances to the Jabal al-Nasr neighborhood with earth mounds. The camp is under a tight siege, accompanied by the seizure of dozens of homes and their conversion into military barracks.

Israeli forces also arrested a Palestinian after he was shot in the town of Meithalun, south of Jenin.

Local sources told the Palestinian News Agency that a special forces force from the Israeli occupation army infiltrated Meithalun, surrounded the home of a Palestinian, opened fire, and injured him with live ammunition. The source added that the Israeli forces then interrogated him on the spot before arresting him. The sources added that the enemy forces prevented ambulance crews from reaching Rabaya and arrested him without knowing his health condition.
