The Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) has accused Israel of being responsible for the killing of approximately 70% of journalists worldwide in 2024.
The committee confirmed in a statement issued on Wednesday that the killing of 85 Palestinian journalists in a single year represents the highest number recorded by the State of Palestine in a single year since the committee began documenting this nearly three decades ago.
