The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Friday that Russian forces targeted, with a missile strike, the location of a meeting for Ukrainian commanders and foreign trainers in the city of Kryvyi Rih.
Sputnik news agency quoted the Russian Ministry of Defense in a statement saying: "The enemy's losses amounted to up to 85 military officers and foreigners in Kryvyi Rih."
The statement added: "Today, on April 4, at 18:49 Moscow time, a high-precision missile with high-explosive ammunition was launched at the location of a meeting with commanders of formations and Western trainers in a restaurant in the city of Kryvyi Rih. As a result of the strike, the enemy lost up to 85 military personnel and officers from foreign countries."
The ministry also clarified that the enemy also lost up to 20 vehicles.
On the same day, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that Russian forces had managed to liberate the towns of Ospenivka and Rozovka in the Donetsk People's Republic.
The Ministry's statement noted: "As a result of active and decisive operations, units of the Russian 'Southern Group' forces liberated the towns of Panteleymonivka and Rozovka in the Donetsk People's Republic."
The statement added that "units of the Russian 'Western Group' forces improved their tactical positions and targeted personnel and military equipment from three mechanized brigades, two assault brigades of the Ukrainian armed forces, a regional defense brigade, and a border detachment of the Ukrainian border guard."
