Four Palestinian citizens were martyred and others injured on Monday evening as a result of sporadic Israeli enemy airstrikes on areas in the cities of Khan Yunis and Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip. This brings the death toll since dawn today to more than 45, including children and women.
The Palestinian News Agency, WAFA, reported that citizen Mamdouh Kamel Shurab was martyred after being targeted by a drone near the car market south of Khan Yunis. Citizen Mohammed Saeed Abdulshafouq al-Abadlah was martyred as a result of another drone strike in al-Iqlimiya area, southwest of the city.
Citizen Nashat Ahmad also succumbed to wounds he sustained on Sunday evening in a bombing that targeted a house in al-Amal neighborhood of Khan Yunis. Medical sources reported that the body of martyr Mohammed al-Abadlah arrived at Nasser Medical Complex after being targeted by Israeli enemy aircraft in al-Shakoush area, northwest of Rafah.
In a related development, two citizens were injured in a enemy drone strike targeting a motorcycle east of Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip.
According to medical sources, the death toll in the Gaza Strip, from the early hours of this morning until this evening, has risen to more than 45, amid the escalating Zionist aggression.
It is worth noting that the enemy forces have continued their aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, resulting in the martyrdom of 50,752 citizens, the majority of whom are children and women, and the injury of 115,475 others.
This is a preliminary toll, as ambulance and rescue crews are still unable to reach a large number of victims trapped under the rubble and in the streets.
