Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi confirmed that "the circulating allegations about the launch of indirect negotiations between Iran and the US are incorrect," while stressing at the same time "Tehran's readiness to conduct indirect negotiations through the Sultanate of Oman."
In a statement to the Iranian Tasnim News Agency, Araqchi explained: "We do not accept the principle of direct negotiations for clear reasons that have been explained repeatedly."
