Nablus - Saba:

Several Palestinian citizens suffered suffocation from tear gas inhalation on Monday evening, during clashes that erupted after Israeli forces raided the town of Beita, south of Nablus.

Local sources reported to the Palestinian News Agency that Israeli enemy forces stormed the town from several directions and fired sound bombs and tear gas at residents, sparking clashes in several areas within the town. Several residents suffered suffocation injuries and were treated in the field by ambulance crews.

The town of Beita has been subjected to repeated attacks by Israeli enemy forces and Zionist settlers, as part of a systematic policy of repression against the town's residents.

In a related development, a young Palestinian man was injured by Israeli enemy gunfire on Monday evening in the village of Shuqba, west of Ramallah.

The Palestinian news agency reported that Israeli enemy forces stormed the village, raided a house, positioned snipers on its roof, and fired live and rubber-coated metal bullets at civilians.

A young man was injured in the leg by live bullets, and was taken to hospital for treatment.
