Berlin - Saba -
The German government called on Monday for an urgent investigation into the killing of paramedics and relief workers by Israeli enemy fire targeting the vehicles they were traveling in while carrying out their work in the Gaza Strip.
According to the German news agency (Deutsche Welle), a spokesperson for the German Foreign Ministry said that the video released by the Palestinian Red Crescent last weekend, which contradicts the Israeli enemy's narrative, is "truly heinous and requires urgent clarification."
A spokesperson for Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong said in press statements, "The killing of humanitarian workers in Gaza is unacceptable."
In a press statement, she stressed the need to make greater efforts to protect humanitarian workers in Gaza and around the world, affirming that Australia "is leading global efforts to protect aid workers and is seeking to issue a new declaration to protect humanitarian workers."
