Sana'a – SABA:
The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has forecast relatively cool weather in the mountainous highlands and hot conditions in desert areas, with expected rainfall in coastal regions over the next 24 hours.
In its weather bulletin, the center indicated that the weather is expected to be generally clear and relatively cool at night and early morning, with partly cloudy to cloudy skies during the day. Rain-bearing cumulus clouds may form over parts of the governorates of Saada, Hajjah, Al Mahwit, Raymah, Ibb, and Taiz in the afternoon and evening.
Partly to fully cloudy skies and scattered rain are expected over the Socotra Archipelago and light rainfall along the southern coasts. Winds are expected to be active to strong along the southern Red Sea coast, Bab al-Mandab Strait, and the western Gulf of Aden, with speeds ranging from 14 to 22 knots and gusts exceeding 30 knots, causing sea disturbance and high waves.
In desert regions, the weather will be mostly sunny and hot, with temperatures ranging between 34–39°C, while in the Tihama Plain, temperatures will range between 35–38°C. Winds will be light to moderate, occasionally becoming active during the day.
The center warned fishermen and seafarers in the southern Red Sea, Bab al-Mandab, and the western Gulf of Aden of sea disturbances.
It also cautioned residents of desert areas and the Tihama Plain about high temperatures, advising them to avoid direct sun exposure for extended periods, especially during midday.
