The Central Emergency Developmental Interventions Unit of the Ministry of Local Administration and Rural Development today launched the distribution of the fifth batch of cement, amounting to 2,500 bags, to support community initiatives in implementing developmental and service projects in Taiz Governorate.

This batch comes as an extension of the support provided by the Interventions Unit to execute and complete numerous projects adopted by the local community with the unit’s assistance and supervision.

During the launch, Eng. Badruddin Al-Tayyar, representative of the Interventions Unit in Taiz and Lahj Governorates, explained that the total support provided by the unit for initiative projects in the governorate since the beginning of 2025 has reached 22,500 cement bags, as part of efforts to bolster developmental work in Taiz.

He emphasized that these steps come within the framework of enhancing partnership with the local community, which has demonstrated its effective ability to drive development despite the difficult circumstances resulting from aggression and siege.
