Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Mohammad Eslami said on Wednesday "The AEOI has now reached a stage of maturity where it is capable of making approximately 150 achievements in scientific, technological, and industrial fields annually."
Mehr News Agency quoted Mohammad Eslami as saying "Iran also plans to achieve a 20,000 megawatt nuclear power capacity, and with the participation of the public and private sectors, we will achieve this long-term goal and eliminate the existing imbalances in the energy sector."
He described the Iranian organization as a pioneer in domestic research and transforming ideas into products in the innovation cycle, saying, "The AEOI is capable of transforming scientific knowledge into technology, and ultimately technology into products, in a reliable process."
