The death toll from al-Shuja'iyya massacre" east of Gaza City rose to 38 on Wednesday, with 85 wounded, as part of the ongoing Zionist genocide that has been ongoing for 18 months.
This came after Civil Defense teams were able to retrieve 15 martyrs and rescue 25 wounded from under the rubble of buildings destroyed by Zionist shelling in the densely populated neighborhood, according to a Civil Defense statement.
The statement indicated that the wounded were transferred to the hospital for treatment, without specifying the nature of their injuries.
On Wednesday morning, the Civil Defense reported the martyrdom of 23 Palestinians, including eight children and eight women, and the injury of 60 others as a result of Israeli shelling that targeted several buildings on Baghdad Street in al-Shuja'iyya neighborhood, according to Anadolu Agency.
