Gaza - Saba:
The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) considered the military operation launched by the Zionist enemy forces in the Balata refugee camp in Nablus on Wednesday a "new escalation in its ongoing aggression against our Palestinian people."
In a statement, the movement also considered this escalation "an extension of the war of extermination that has been ongoing for a year and a half in the Gaza Strip, and of the systematic displacement campaign targeting Jenin and Tulkarm for several months."
The movement continued, "The Palestinian people, who have confronted the occupation with steadfastness and sacrifices, will once again thwart all the enemy's attempts to strike the popular incubator of resistance in the West Bank, especially in its steadfast camps. These crimes will not succeed in breaking the will of our people or deterring them from defending their land, holy sites, and legitimate rights."
Hamas saluted "the heroic youth of Balata refugee camp who bravely confronted the occupation forces and defended their camp. Their chants for the resistance and its martyred leaders reached us, in a gesture of loyalty that confirms that our people will not deviate from the path of their free leaders."
It also called on the Palestinian people in the West Bank to "rise in a broad popular uprising, stand united in the face of the occupation, and strengthen the spirit of solidarity, support, and backing for the areas subjected to Zionist aggression."
On the 18th of last month, the enemy forces reneged on the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement in effect since January 19, and resumed their war of genocide against the devastated Gaza Strip.
With absolute American support, the enemy forces have been committing genocide in the besieged Palestinian Strip since October 7, 2023, leaving more than 166,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing.
