The Resistance Committees in Palestine declared on Thursday that the ongoing systematic destruction, demolition of buildings and homes, and forced displacement of residents in the southern Gaza city of Rafah constitutes a major war crime committed by the Zionist enemy entity.
According to the Safa News Agency, the Resistance Committees stated in a press release that the occupation’s intention to turn Rafah into a buffer zone through its policy of destruction, demolition, and forced displacement has become a tool of genocide, ethnic cleansing, and eradication, aiming to eliminate Palestinian presence in the Gaza Strip.
The statement added that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is committing the most heinous acts of killing, massacres, and destruction, while enjoying impunity and a lack of accountability, amidst clear complicity and failure by the international community and its institutions.
The Resistance Committees emphasized that the steadfast Palestinian people and their brave resistance will thwart all the Zionist enemy’s schemes and conspiracies.
