A large-scale rally took place on Friday in al-Hijr district of Lahj province, under the banner "Jihad, Steadfastness, and Bravery... We Will Not Abandon Gaza."
The demonstration underscored the continued solidarity of the local population with the Palestinian people and their resolute stance against US aggression.
The rally was attended by province's mobilization officer Jamil Saleh al-Sufi, province undersecrectary Faisal al-Faqih, director of al-Qabaita district Wahid al-Khidr, province's guidance officer Ali al-Karrar, along with military and security leaders, and various social figures. Participants affirmed their ongoing efforts to thwart what they perceive as enemy plots.
Attendees reiterated the commitment of the "people of faith and wisdom" to their firm and principled position in supporting Gaza and Palestine, vowing to continue their "path of jihad for the sake of Allah" and to stand by the causes of the nation.
A statement issued by the rally declared that the Yemeni people would not abandon Gaza or its people, emphasizing their steadfastness on the path of truth and "jihad in the cause of Allah" without retreat or weakness.
Addressing the people of Gaza, the statement conveyed solidarity: "You are not alone and will never be alone. Allah is with you and we are with you. He who is with Allah will not be defeated. We affirm that the American aggression against us, aimed at preventing us from standing with you, will not deter us from this position, no matter what it does, Allah willing. Just as it was unable to do so over the past long years, during which it launched hundreds of thousands of raids against us, it will not be able to deter us now, even if it launches more, even if it summons and gathers all the devils of jinn and mankind against us. This is because the devil's plot was weak, and their aggression will only increase our steadfastness and certainty that we are on the right path and they are on the wrong path."
The statement also addressed the "American and Zionist enemies," asserting the failure of their aggression in both Gaza and Yemen, highlighting their inability to achieve their objectives. This failure was attributed to the righteousness of the Yemeni cause versus the perceived wrongfulness of the enemy's path, stating, "We are loyal to Allah, while you are loyal to Satan."
The statement called for the activation of all popular and official capabilities to support the Palestinian people and defend Yemen against American aggression, including general mobilization, participation in training, financial contributions, economic boycotts, and intensified media campaigns.
It urged security and judicial authorities to take firm action against anyone collaborating with the "Zionist or American enemy" and called on everyone to actively contribute to supporting Gaza and thwarting the enemy's goals.
