The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) considered the collective punishment and starvation of civilians carried out by the "Israeli" occupation authorities in the Gaza Strip as crimes under international law.
In a press statement on Friday, the OHCHR emphasized that the "Israeli" attacks in Gaza Strip raise serious questions about its compliance with international humanitarian law.
It added that Israel's closure of Gaza Strip crossings raises fears of collective punishment and starvation of civilians, as well as the targeting of safe civilians and Palestinian journalists.
It added that despite Israel's designation of the Mawasi area as a "safe zone," it bombed the tents of the displaced people there.
The enemy's war on Gaza Strip is still continuing brutally, in conjunction with intensive targeting, on the people and civilians in all areas of Gaza Strip for the 26th day in a row, after a fragile truce that Benjamin Netanyahu overturned, resuming the war.
