Dr. Basem Naim, a member of the Political Bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the Gaza Strip, has confirmed that the movement's delegation, which arrived in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, will discuss how to end the war and open the crossings to allow the entry of humanitarian aid.
He added in a statement on Sunday, reported by the Palestinian Safa News Agency, that the delegation will also discuss "the possibility of implementing the decision to form a community support committee, which has become a source of Palestinian, Arab, and Islamic consensus, as well as international acceptance, to manage government affairs at all levels and levels, and to create the necessary conditions for reconstruction and unification of institutions between Gaza and the West Bank, in cooperation with the government in Ramallah, based on the unity of the Palestinian territories and the unity of the political system."
He emphasized that "the movement deals with a high degree of responsibility and positivity with any new proposal, based on ending the war and withdrawing hostile forces."
