New York - Saba:
The United Nations confirmed that the humanitarian situation in Gaza Strip is "likely the worst" since the start of the Zionist aggression on the Strip, as a result of the complete cessation of the flow of humanitarian aid through the crossings for more than a month and a half.

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said in a statement on Monday that "the humanitarian situation is now likely the worst in the 18 months since the outbreak of the war," noting that a month and a half has passed "since any supplies were allowed to enter through the crossings into Gaza, which is the longest period of supply interruption so far."

The UN office characterized this interruption as an unprecedented stage of humanitarian collapse.

Since October 7, 2023, the Zionist enemy forces began an aggression on Gaza Strip, which resulted in the martyrdom of 50,983 citizens, mostly children , women, and the injury of 116,274 others, in an unfinished toll, as a number of victims are still under the rubble and in the roads that ambulance and rescue crews cannot reach them.
