Hajjah governor inspects progress of summer Courses in Mabyan district

Hajjah - Saba:
Hajjah governor Hilal Al-Sufi, accompanied by the province undersecretary for Cultural Affairs Hamoud al-Maghrebi, conducted a review on Tuesday of the ongoing summer courses in Mabyan district.

During their visit, they received a briefing from Director of the Education Sector in the district Hamdan Mahdi, who detailed the various activities and programs currently being implemented and highlighted the level of student engagement in the summer courses.

Al-Sufi and al-Maghribi emphasized the significant role of these summer programs in facilitating the memorization and recitation of the Holy Quran, as well as in nurturing the capabilities and skills of both male and female students across diverse cultural and creative domains.

They underscored the commitment of the "revolutionary leadership" to building younger generations grounded in the values of the Islamic religion, while simultaneously strengthening their scientific, cultural, cognitive, and skillful development, ultimately contributing to their qualification in various fields.

The Governor of Hajjah and the Deputy Governor commended the dedication of the educational staff and the collaborative efforts undertaken to ensure the success of the summer courses.

They were accompanied on the review by the directors of the governorate's Youth and Sports Office, Murad Shali, the financial affairs director, Abdulwahab Sinan, the director of the Mabin Directorate, Mansour Hamza, and local council leaders within the district.

During the visit, Governor Al-Sufi stressed the crucial role of the community in encouraging young people to actively participate in the summer courses to achieve their intended objectives.

Furthermore, he directed a study to be conducted for the restoration of the roof of the Ammar bin Yasser School, located in al-Dam area.

The delegation also reviewed the progress of the basic certificate examinations being held at al-Ghadeer Center within the district.
