Tulkarm - Saba:
On Monday, Israeli enemy forces deployed their military vehicles on various streets and intersections in Tulkarm, carrying out a series of raids and incursions, amidst restrictions on the movement of citizens.
Eyewitnesses told the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) that Israeli soldiers raided the Fawaz Mall building, located near the Peace Roundabout in the southeast of the city. They detained customers and employees inside and subjected them to interrogation. They also set up a military checkpoint in the same area, stopped a number of young men, searched them, checked their IDs and cell phones, and obstructed the movement of vehicles. No arrests were reported.
Meanwhile, the city center witnessed heavy activity by enemy vehicles, particularly in the Gold Market, Gamal Abdel Nasser Square, and the Martyr Thabet Thabet Roundabout. Four military jeeps were stationed on the street leading to the Martyr Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital, preventing vehicles from passing.
The WAFA News Agency reported that enemy soldiers raided a café on the aforementioned street and interrogated everyone inside, while firing sound bombs at residents to intimidate them.
In Tulkarm refugee camp, enemy soldiers deployed heavily in the airport neighborhood, raiding and searching homes, ransacking their contents, and forcing all remaining families to evacuate their homes under threat.
Enemy forces also forced residents of the Jabal al-Salihin area in Nur Shams refugee camp to leave their homes immediately, preventing them from taking their personal belongings. This occurred amid widespread raids that targeted a large number of homes in the area.
These raids come amid a continued escalation of Israeli violations in the city of Tulkarm, its two camps, and its suburbs, and amid an ongoing aggression for the 78th consecutive day, with daily, round-the-clock raids, accompanied by arrests and forced displacement of citizens.
