Ibb governor, Abdul Wahid Salah, reviewed the damage caused by torrential rains in the areas of Al-Ma'ayin, Al-Rashid and 16th Street in the province center.
Governor Salah heard from specialists in the concerned authorities and citizens about the damage caused by the torrential rains to public and private property.
Ibb governor directed the works offices, the executive unit of roads, the cleanliness fund and the emergency committee, to quickly clean the ferries , streams , put all measures and precautions that would protect citizens and their property, especially with the early start of the rainy season this year.
He also directed the office of the Public Authority for Zakat to quickly provide aid and assistance to those affected by these torrents and provide their needs.
He called on citizens to be cautious and stay away from places where torrential torrents flow during and after the rains, as well as avoid walking in the valleys in light of the expectations of continued heavy rains during the coming period.
