Sana'a - (Saba):
The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has forecast thunderstorms of varying intensity across the governorates over the next 24 hours.
According to the center's weather bulletin, thunderstorms of varying intensity are expected to fall on the governorates of Ibb, Taiz, Lahj, and Al Dhale'e.
Scattered rains, sometimes accompanied by thunder, are expected to fall on the governorates of Saada, Hajjah, Al Mahwit, western Sana'a, Raymah, Dhamar, Bayda, Abyan, and Shabwah, as well as the coasts of Hadhramaut and Al Mahrah, and parts of the southern coasts. Rain may extend to adjacent inland areas.
Rain is expected to include scattered areas of the Tihama Plain.
The center reported that the amount of rainfall measured at some meteorological stations over the past 24 hours was as follows: Ibb: 24.8 mm, Taiz: 24.6 mm, Hodeida -Zabid: 2 mm, and Amran: 0.2 mm.
Scattered rainfall also fell outside the stations' range in parts of the governorates of Saada, Al Mahwit, western Sana'a, Dhamar, Shabwah, Marib, Al Jawf, and the Hadramaut coast.
The center warned citizens of flash floods in valleys and ravines, thunderstorms, strong downward winds, and reduced horizontal visibility on mountain roads due to rain, low clouds, and fog.
It urged caution and avoidance of crossing over ground bridges during flash floods.
