UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini stated that over 2.1 million Palestinians are trapped in Gaza under “Israeli” bombardment and are suffering from starvation.
According to the official UNRWA website, Lazzarini said on Tuesday that “for the past six weeks, no aid has entered Gaza due to the ongoing ‘Israeli’ blockade.” He noted that “the supplies that entered during the ceasefire have now been exhausted, and we are once again facing the threat of famine in Gaza.”
