Geneva – Saba:
Doctors Without Borders (MSF) said that "the Gaza Strip has turned into a mass grave for Palestinians and those trying to help them," in light of the ongoing Israeli attacks and the stifling blockade imposed since the beginning of the genocidal war on the Strip.
The organization added, in press statements on Wednesday, that Israeli forces launched a series of deadly attacks that demonstrated a blatant disregard for the safety of humanitarian and medical workers, noting that "what we are witnessing today is the annihilation of the population of Gaza and their forced displacement."
The organization continued by saying that the complete blockade on Gaza has led to the depletion of food, fuel, and medicine supplies, warning that the fuel shortage in various areas of Gaza will inevitably lead to the cessation of medical activities, due to hospitals' reliance on generators.
The organization called for the immediate lifting of the inhumane and deadly blockade on Gaza, stressing the need to protect the lives of Palestinian civilians and ensure the safety of medical and humanitarian workers.
