Sana'a - Saba:
The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources has strongly condemned the recent US aggression targeting Kamaran Island in Hodeida province , labeling it a direct threat to marine life and the ecosystem.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the Ministry asserted that the US aggression's continued targeting of the island not only endangers the delicate marine environment and its inhabitants but also puts the lives of fishermen and residents of the island at grave risk.
The Ministry stated that the attack on Kamaran Island underscores the "bankruptcy of the US aggression," which it claims "does not hesitate to violate all humanitarian and international conventions." It further noted that the aggression has inflicted significant damage on a crucial Red Sea island of considerable environmental and economic importance.
The Ministry emphasized that this act of aggression is part of a broader US escalation in support of the Zionist entity in its ongoing aggression against the Palestinian people.
The statement held the United States fully accountable for the attack and called upon the United Nations and international organizations to uphold their legal and humanitarian responsibilities by taking a firm stance to condemn this "crime" and demand an immediate halt to the aggression against both the Yemeni and Palestinian peoples.
