Abuja - Saba:
"Nigeria and South Africa have signed an agreement to enhance cooperation in mining, highlighting Abuja's efforts to diversify its economy away from oil," Nigeria's Mining Minister Dele Alake said on Thursday.

"The two countries will cooperate in the field of mining, including geological mapping using drones, exchange of mineral data, and joint exploration of agricultural minerals and energy in Nigeria," Alake said in a statement, according to Reuters.

"South Africa's extensive experience in mining makes it a key partner in this effort," he added.
