Al-Khalil – SABA:
A Palestinian citizen was injured Thursday evening after being shot by an Israeli settler in Masafer Yatta, south of Al-Khalil.
Fuad al-Amour, an activist against settlement expansion in Masafer Yatta, told Sanad News Agency that the victim, Saeed al-Amour, 60, was hit by live ammunition in the leg after a settler opened fire on him in the Al-Rakeez area, near the village of At-Tuwani in the Masafer region.
In a related development, settlers established a new pastoral settlement outpost in the town of Turmus Ayya, north of Ramallah, earlier today.
Local sources reported that settlers set up the outpost near residential homes east of the town, pitching a tent on the outskirts of a field.
The settlers also brought in a herd of sheep and a group of settlers, under the protection of the Israeli army and settlement security forces.
