Lahj province witnessed on Friday a massive march under the title "Steadfast with Gaza in US-Israeli escalation face" in solidarity with Gaza and emphasizing readiness to confront the US escalation against Yemen.
During the march, which was held in Al-Qubaita district in the presence of the deputy governor Faisal Al-Faqih, Lahj mobilization official Jamil Al-Sufi, member of the Yemen Scholars Association Farouk Al-Qubati, director of the district Waheed Al-Khodr, local, military , security leaders and social figures, the participants affirmed the continuation of the firm and principled position in support of the brothers in Gaza.
They condemned the US aggression against Yemen and its continued targeting of civilian objects, service facilities , infrastructure, the Zionist enemy's continued aggression and criminality against the Palestinians in Gaza Strip, with US support, in full view of the world.
A statement issued by the march emphasized the Yemeni people's stance with Gaza no matter how much the US enemy escalates, pointing to the failure of the US aggression in the face of the determination , steadfastness of Yemenis and its inability to achieve its goals.
The statement pointed to the enemy's inability to influence the armed forces, adding, "Our operations are continuing deep inside the enemy, our seas are forbidden to its ships, aircraft carriers are failing one after another, modern enemy aircraft are falling, and God's care for us is visible to us, praise and gratitude be to God."
The statement called on "the peoples of the nation to move with us in this direction in response to God and in defense of ourselves in the face of the enemies' violation of us and our countries, otherwise shame , humiliation will be our fate in this world and painful torment in the hereafter."
