Occupied Quds – SABA:
Three Palestinians sustained injuries and bruises on Friday as a result of an assault by Israeli settlers while the victims were on their agricultural lands in the town of Bidya, west of Salfit.
According to Sanad News Agency, citing eyewitnesses, Ahmad Sarsour from the village of Sarta, and brothers Saqr and Abdul Rahim Al-Aqra from Bidya, were attacked by a group of settlers in the Khallet Hassan area north of the town. The assault left them with varying degrees of injuries.
Eyewitnesses added that Sarsour was transported to Salfit Governmental Hospital for treatment after suffering cuts and bruises across his body. Meanwhile, Israeli forces detained the Al-Aqra brothers and transferred them to the Yakir settlement military base, built on Palestinian-owned land.
The Khallet Hassan area has witnessed repeated settler attempts to seize Palestinian lands, including placing caravans and grazing livestock, to impose a new reality on the ground.
Additionally, settlers attacked Palestinian farmers while they were plowing their land in the Al-Yanbou’ area, west of the village of Farkha, southwest of Salfit.
These incidents come amid a notable increase in settler attacks on Palestinians and their properties in the Salfit Governorate in recent weeks.
