Rabat - Saba:
Several Moroccan cities witnessed mass demonstrations following Friday prayers for the 72nd week in solidarity with the Palestinians and the Gaza Strip, which has been subjected to an ongoing Zionist genocide for 18 months.
Thousands of participants in the vigils, organized by the Moroccan Committee for Supporting the Nation's Causes, expressed their rejection of the plan to displace Palestinians from Gaza.
Among the cities that witnessed the demonstrations were Chefchaouen, Tangier, Meknes, Taourirt, Agadir, Taza, Jerada, and El Jadida.
Participants in these vigils raised banners supporting the Palestinian resistance and the steadfastness of its people.
They also denounced the systematic starvation policy and the blockade imposed on the Gaza Strip.
Morocco is among the most active countries in supporting Gaza, with daily demonstrations taking place in its streets and universities throughout the 15-month-long aggression on Gaza. These demonstrations have been renewed since the Zionist enemy resumed its war of extermination on Tuesday, March 18.
