Meteorology Forecasts Scattered Rainfall in Coming Hours

Sana'a - (Saba):
The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has forecast scattered rainfall of varying intensity across several governorates over the next 24 hours.

According to the center's weather bulletin, thunderstorms of varying intensity are expected across parts of Hajjah, Al Mahwit, Raymah, and parts of the Tihama Plain.

It also indicated the possibility of scattered rain, sometimes accompanied by thunder, across parts of Saada, Ibb, western Amran, Sana'a, and Dhamar governorates, as well as parts of the western and southern coasts and the corresponding inland areas.

The center reported that the amount of rainfall over the past 24 hours, measured at meteorological stations in Raymah, was 2.5 mm, and Ibb, was 0.5 mm.

Scattered rains also fell outside the scope of monitoring stations in parts of the governorates of Sa'dah, Hajjah, Al Mahwit, Amran, Raymah, Ibb, Taiz, western Sana'a, and Dhamar.

The center warned citizens of flash floods in valleys and ravines, thunderstorms, strong downward winds, and reduced visibility on mountain roads due to rain, low clouds, and fog.
