The Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" affirmed that "the escalating violations by the occupation and its settlers in the West Bank and Jerusalem will only strengthen our people's determination to defend their rights and holy sites."
In a press statement on Saturday, Hamas official Abdul Rahman Shadid stressed that "the Zionist occupation’s violations and the settlers' ongoing attacks in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem will only deepen our people's commitment to their land and sanctities."
Shadid explained that "the occupation's seizure of thousands of acres of land and its confiscation of vast areas in the West Bank for settlement expansion confirm the criminality of the extremist occupation government and its displacement project aimed at expelling our people from their homeland."
He emphasized that "the brutal and ongoing aggression in the northern West Bank, particularly in Jenin and Tulkarm for nearly three months—along with the destruction, displacement, and erasure of landmarks—will not weaken our people's resolve to resist and pursue freedom from occupation."
He added that "Palestinian prisoners endure unprecedented punitive and retaliatory conditions in the history of the captive movement, amid international, Arab, official, and human rights silence," pointing to the occupation’s crime against imprisoned leader Mohammad Jamal Al-Natsheh, who was subjected to severe torture and an attempted assassination.
Shadid warned that "the aggression and escalation of violations in Al-Aqsa Mosque and Quds during the so-called Hebrew 'Passover holiday' pose a grave danger, necessitating mobilization to defend the mosque and protect it from Judaization schemes."
