Istanbul - Saba:
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan declared that the massacres committed by the Israeli entity in the Gaza Strip have demonstrated the falsity of so-called "Western values."
In a speech delivered in Istanbul during the regular general conference of the Women and Democracy Foundation, the Turkish president said, "The massacres that have been ongoing for 18 months in Gaza, and all the events we have witnessed recently, have demonstrated the emptiness of so-called Western values."
He emphasized that "with every innocent child, woman, and infant brutally killed, the remnants of the West's moral superiority, which had already been greatly weakened, are diminishing."
In domestic affairs, Erdoğan criticized the Turkish opposition for defending gender identity policies, which he said the Western world itself has begun to seek ways to eliminate. These statements coincide with the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip's announcement on Saturday that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Strip has risen to 51,157 martyrs and 116,724 wounded, since the start of the war on October 7, 2023.
