Hundreds of activists demonstrated in St. Louis, Missouri, USA, demanding the immediate release of Palestinian activist Mahmoud Khalil and all international students detained by US authorities for their activities opposing the war on Gaza.
This comes amid growing concerns about students being targeted for their political positions.
According to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), this action comes at a time when the visas of more than 1,000 international students have been revoked or their legal status has been changed, which the demonstrators consider a systematic campaign to suppress freedom of expression on American campuses.
