The Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit, in coordination with the local authority in Maqbana district in Taiz province, and the agricultural association in the district, launched the distribution of (3,000) bags of cement to support 25 community initiatives projects in the field of roads.
During the inauguration, the representative of the Central Interventions Unit in Taiz and Lahj province, Engineer Badr al-Din al-Tayyar, explained that the distribution of this quantity comes within the framework of supporting urgent projects to serve citizens in remote areas, especially Maqbana district, which has been deprived of such projects for many years.
He emphasized that this support aims to enable citizens to implement sustainable service projects that meet their needs and contribute to improving their living conditions, praising the spirit of initiative shown by the people of the directorate in adopting and implementing community initiative projects.
The director of Maqbana district, Abdulrahman Sinan, praised the role of the Intervention Unit in supporting projects, which reflects the government's directives to activate the role of the local community.
He considered supporting the initiatives an important step on the road to developmental advancement in the district, especially in light of the urgent need to improve the road network , facilitate transportation and services in remote areas.
