Israeli forces launched a large-scale campaign of raids last night and early Monday morning in several areas of the West Bank, including arrests and raids on Palestinian homes and camps.
Local Palestinian sources reported that Israeli forces arrested a young man after raiding his home in the village of Iskaka, east of Salfit. They also arrested an elderly man and his son during a raid on the town of Beitunia, west of Ramallah.
The same sources indicated that the raids included Aida refugee camp in Bethlehem, Al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of Hebron, the town of Habla, south of Qalqilya, and the town of Rafat, northwest of Jerusalem. Bulldozers accompanied Israeli forces and began demolishing a residential building in the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron.
Israeli forces also stormed the city of Nablus from the Huwara checkpoint, raiding Balata refugee camp, east of the city, and the northern mountain area.
The West Bank is witnessing a continued escalation in Israeli attacks, with night raids and near-daily arrests.
Palestinians have called for escalating confrontation and resistance, targeting the Israeli enemy and its settlers in the West Bank in all arenas.
