The 47th edition of the Islamic Book Fair officially opened on Monday in Kuwait City.
Siham Al-Azmi, Director General of the National Library, stated that the fair boasts a proud 47-year history of success in fulfilling its mission to enlighten both heart and mind, and to promote conscious reading among the public, according to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
