The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Tuesday that its forces had captured a new town in eastern Ukraine, eliminated 900 soldiers, and shot down 99 drones.
The Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement that as a result of military operations carried out by units of the Russian Southern Group, the town of Sukhaya Balak in Donetsk Province was taken.
It explained that its forces targeted Ukrainian armed forces concentrations in the Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Donetsk provinces, noting that Ukrainian forces lost dozens of tanks, armored vehicles, personnel carriers, artillery, ammunition depots, and electronic warfare stations as a result of these operations.
It indicated that Russian operational and tactical aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces, and artillery damaged a Ukrainian drone production site.
