The center stated in its weather bulletin that clear to partly cloudy skies are expected, with the possibility of light to moderate rain falling in the province of Sa'ada, Hajjah, Mahweet, Raymah, western Dhamar, and the highlands of Tihama Plain during the afternoon and evening.
The weather is likely to be clear to partly cloudy and hot, with moderate to active winds along the southern west coast and the Bab al-Mandab Strait. Winds may reach maximum speeds of 28 knots, causing sea disturbances and high waves.
In desert areas, the weather may be clear and hot during the day, with temperatures ranging between 36 and 39 degrees Celsius. Winds will be moderate, sometimes active, causing dust and sandstorms.
The center warned citizens of flash floods in valleys and ravines, as well as thunderstorms. It also warned beachgoers and fishermen south of the west coast and the Bab al-Mandab Strait of rough seas and high waves.
It also warned citizens in desert areas and coastal plains, especially in the eastern part, of the hot weather and advised them to avoid direct sun exposure during the afternoon.
