The Ministry of Youth is planning to establish two specialized summer schools for deaf and mute students, announced Undersecretary for the Youth Sector, Abdullah al-Razihi, during a visit on Tuesday to the Association for the Care of the Deaf and Mute Rehabilitation and al-Amal School.
Al-Razihi, who also chairs the Technical Committee for Summer Activities and Courses, along with the Director of the Youth Center for Training and Development, Dr. Ali Al-Ma'naqi, reviewed the association's current educational, cultural, skills, and sports programs for the deaf and mute community. They also assessed the resources needed for the upcoming summer schools and viewed examples of the association's work.
The Undersecretary emphasized the Ministry's commitment to supporting and sponsoring programs for this community, aiming for their social integration and increased participation in society. He praised the dedication of the association's members and called for greater support from official and civil institutions.
