The Executive Committee of the Summer Courses in Al-Thawra District, Capital Secretariat, launched on Tuesday the sports and cultural activities for students of the summer courses under the title "Knowledge and Jihad."
The inauguration, held in Al-Ghuraf neighborhood, was attended by Member of Parliament Mohammed Al-Tawqi and Head of the Planning Committee in the Capital Secretariat Sharaf Al-Hadi. The Director of the District, Aqeel Al-Saqqaf, and the Mobilization Officer in the District, Saddam Al-Hababi, emphasized the importance of the summer courses in providing students with diverse knowledge and sciences, as well as shielding them from misguided ideologies and the dangers of soft warfare.
Speeches highlighted the significant benefits students gain from participating in summer activities and courses, which help refine their skills and talents, ultimately yielding positive outcomes for society.
Following the ceremony, an exciting football match was held between the teams of Al-Shaheed Zaid Ali Musleh School and Al-Hashhash School, ending in a 2-2 draw.
